The event
The Universal Open Ho Chi Minh brings a 128-player international nine-ball field to Sniper Billiards Club in Ho Chi Minh City from November 11–15, 2026 — a World Nineball Tour Silver ranking event carrying a $63,000 prize fund. It opens a back-to-back Southeast Asian swing, finishing two days before the Universal Bangkok Open begins on November 17.
Format
The 128-man draw opens with double elimination — a player is out only after two defeats — down to the last 64. From there the event becomes straight knockout, building to a final raced to 13 racks.
