# Revora Spanish Open: Saturday Order of Play in Gandia

*Sixteen losers'-qualification ties open the day before the men's last 32 goes race-to-11 at noon — while the women's event plays four sessions to its own last 16.*

Saturday is cut-down day in Gandia. The Revora Spanish Open finishes the men's double-elimination phase over breakfast — 16 losers'-qualification ties at 09:00 local (08:00 UTC, 4 a.m. ET) — then turns knockout: 32 players race to 11 across two sessions that end the night with a quarter-final line-up. The women's event plays four sessions of its own to produce a last 16 by 19:00.

:::note{type=info}
Order of play verified against the official EPBF draw & results pages for the men's and women's events — two fetches taken minutes apart at approximately 01:00 UTC on Saturday, October 31 returned identical schedules. Tables are assigned at the venue; this is a snapshot, not a live feed. All times below are local to Gandia.

## The last-32 line-up so far

Half the men's knockout field is already known. Friday's 16 winners'-qualification victors — headed by Euro Tour leader Wojciech Szewczyk, world No. 3 Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, defending champion Oliver Szolnoki and home favourite David Alcaide — wait for the morning's survivors. Alcaide and Sanchez Ruiz both needed deciding racks late on Friday, 9-8 over Dennis Laszkowski and 9-8 over Petr Urban respectively, while Tomasz Kaplan edged Qatar semi-finalist Konrad Juszczyszyn 9-8 in the final wave to take his place.

Poland already puts five men into the last 32 — Szewczyk, Wiktor Zielinski, Sambor Stachowiak, Kaplan and Daniel Macioł — and could send as many as eight more through the morning session. Germany has four through: Yuma Dörner, Felix Vogel, last year's runner-up Luca Menn and Eric Mattern. Croatia's Ivica Putnik, Norway's Emil-Andre Gangfløt, Slovakia's Jaroslav Polách and France's Fabio Rizzi complete the 16.

## One last chance at 09:00

Sixteen races to 9 decide who joins them: win and a last-32 tie follows at noon, lose and the week is over. Juszczyszyn must take the long road against Spain's Jonas Souto; Mateusz Sniegocki, another Friday winners'-qualification loser, meets Pawel Błachowski in an all-Polish tie; and Ukraine's Dmytro Skorokhodov — who ended Radoslaw Babica's event 9-7 on Friday night — faces Norway's Roger Lysholm, fresh from winning European seniors 9-ball gold in Gandia this week.

Szymon Kural plays Italy's Andrea Grosso, Yannick Pongers meets Urban, last year's surprise semi-finalist Hubert Lopotko faces Sweden's Walter Laikre, and Mieszko Fortunski takes on Ukraine's Mykola Moroz. Laszkowski gets an immediate shot at redemption against Turkey's Ramazan Dincer, while Dutch pair Mika van Berkel and Marc Bijsterbosch face Estonia's Karl Gnadeberg and Croatia's Roberto Bartol respectively.

## Women's draw plays to its last 16

The 52-player women's event moves through four sessions. Top seed Pia Filler — 7-4 winner over Norway's Ine Helvik in Friday's opener — headlines the 11:00 winners'-qualification card against Poland's Oliwia Zalewska, with eight last-16 places on offer. All-German interest comes from Miriam Steiner against Ina Kaplan, while Spanish hopes Silvia López Fibla and Maria-Teresa Ropero face Poland's Monika Zabek and Slovenia's Ana Gradišnik. Kamila Khodjaeva of Belgium plays Ukraine's Daria Siranchuk and France's Marion Jude meets China's Jiang Teng in the same wave.

The losers' side opens the day at 09:00 with five Spanish women still alive, Helvik among those needing two wins to survive. Losers' round three at 13:00 and losers' qualification at 15:00 fill the last eight spots; the last 16, race to 9, follows at 19:00.

## What Saturday decides

By the close of play both draws stand at eight. Sunday is finish day: quarter-finals at 10:00, semi-finals staggered at 13:00 and 17:00, and both finals at 20:00 — race to 11 for the men, race to 9 for the women — at the €60,700 season finale, the last Predator Euro Tour stop of 2026 and the first carrying WPA world ranking points.
