# Qatar World Cup 10-Ball Results: Filler vs Manas in the Final

*Fifth seed Joshua Filler ended world No. 1 Wojciech Szewczyk's run and Albert James Manas survived a hill-hill revenge tie against Daniel Macioł to set up Thursday evening's race-to-13 final.*

Two men are left standing at the Qatar World Cup 10-Ball — fifth seed Joshua Filler and the Philippines' Albert James Manas, who meet in Thursday evening's race-to-13 final in Doha for the $100,000 title.

Filler, the last seed in the draw, ended world No. 1 Wojciech Szewczyk's week 11-9 on table 17, while Manas won a hill-hill revenge tie against 2024 champion Daniel Macioł 11-10 on table 16, avenging his Stage-1 defeat to the Pole.

*Results verified against the official QBSF live scoring via rack9pool.com at approximately 12:10 UTC on Thursday, October 29 — cross-checked with Inside Spin. This is a snapshot of completed matches, not a live feed.*

## Semi-final results

Both ties raced to 11 in a single 12:00 window in Doha — losers home with $15,000.

| Winner | Score | Loser |
|---|---|---|
| Joshua Filler (5) | 11-9 | Wojciech Szewczyk |
| Albert James Manas | 11-10 | Daniel Macioł |

## Filler topples the world No. 1

Szewczyk arrived at the semi-final unbeaten through four knockout rounds and was level with Filler at 7-7 on table 17. The German won four of the last six racks from there, closing out 11-9 to reach his second major final of 2026 — he beat Szewczyk 13-1 in May's UK Open title match.

The result ends a remarkable week for the Pole, who came through the losers' side of the double-elimination phase and ousted defending champion Jonas Magpantay before Thursday's defeat.

## Manas turns the tables on Macioł

The second semi-final was a rematch of a Stage-1 qualifier that Macioł won 9-4 — and for long spells it looked like going the same way. The 2024 champion led 8-4 and 9-7 before Manas forced a decider, then took the hill-hill rack to complete an 11-10 comeback and keep the Philippines' flag flying into the final.

## The final — Thursday evening

| Table | Match | Start (Doha) |
|---|---|---|
| 17 | Joshua Filler (5) vs Albert James Manas | 17:30 |

The race to 13 is worth $100,000 to the champion and $40,000 to the runner-up — the biggest single prize of the week.
